  • The Deinze train station is located in Stationstraat (address: Stationstraat 75).
    If you are on foot you will have to walk for about 1 kilometre to reach Peter Benoitlaan (walk along Martensstraat, and Guido Gezellelaan to get to Peter Benoitlaan ).
  • Two important railway lines pass through Deinze:
    -              Line 73 Deinze-De Panne
    -              Line 75 Deinze-Kortrijk

  • You can rent a bike at the train station or at the Deinze Town Hall.
    The annual blue-bike season ticket price is 10€ (current price).

  • The following bus lines pass through Deinze
    -              Line 14 – Gent – Drongen – Deinze
    -              Line 16 – Gent – Drongen – Nevele – Deinze
    -              Line 73 – Deinze – Tielt
    -              Line 75 – Kortrijk – Deinze
    -              Line 81 – Deinze – Gavere – Zottegem
    -              Line 83 – Deinze – Oudenaarde
    -              Line 84 – Deinze – Gavere – Zingem
    -              Line 86 – Deinze – Nevele – Bellem
    -              Line 87 – Deinze – Aalter – Maldegem

By car:

  • Coming from E17 (Exit 7)
    If you are coming from Ghent, in the direction of Kortrijk, take Exit 7 to merge onto N35 towards Deinze.
    If you are coming from Kortrijk, in the direction of Ghent , take Exit 7 and, at the roundabout, take the second exit to follow N35 in the direction of Deinze.
    Follow N35 towards Deinze until you reach the centre of the town. Continue  along  Gaversesteenweg, turn right onto Stationsstraat,  turn left onto Martensstraat and continue onto Guido Gezellelaan. At the traffic lights go straight ahead to reach Peter Benoitlaan
  • Coming from Kruishoutem (N494)
    At the end of N494 turn left to follow N35 until you reach the centre of the town.
    Continue along  Gaversesteenweg, turn right onto Stationsstraat,  turn left onto Martensstraat and continue onto Guido Gezellelaan. At the traffic lights go straight ahead to reach Peter Benoitlaan
  • Coming from Gent via N43 (E40 Exit 14 - Sint-Denijs-Westrem)
    Follow N43 (‘Kortrijksesteenweg’), in the direction of Deinze. When you reach the town you will see Weba (furniture department store) at your left side. At the first traffic lights turn right into Guido Gezellelaan. At the second traffic lights go straight ahead to reach Peter Benoitlaan.
  • Coming from Gent via N466 (E40 Exit 13 - Gent West/Drongen)
    Follow N466 in the direction of Deinze, via Leernsesteenweg and Karel Picquélaan. At the traffic lights, close to ‘Meyers’ shopping centre, turn right onto Peter Benoitlaan.
  • Coming from Zulte/Kortrijk via N43
    Follow N43 (‘Kortrijksesteenweg’), in the direction of Deinze. At the roundabout (Petegem church) go straight ahead. At the second traffic lights turn left onto Guido Gezellelaan. At the next trafiic lights go straight ahead to reach Peter Benoitlaan.
  • Coming from Aalter (N409) or Tielt (N35)
    If you are coming from Aalter, on N409, continue straight onto N35.
    If you are coming from Tielt, take a slight right to keep following N35.
    Keep driving on N35, in the direction of Deinze.
    Continue on Tweebruggenlaan to cross the Schipdonk Channel and the Leie River, till you reach the Petegem roundabout.  At the roundabout, take the third exit, in the direction of Gent, and follow Kortrijkstraat. At the second traffic lights turn left onto Guido Gezellelaan.
